Our glass conservatory roofs can be specified in a selection of attractive glass options. Choose from neutral, aqua, blue, or bronze, depending on the level of solar shading you require. All the glazing in our glass conservatory roofs is available in thicknesses from 24mm to 35mm. It is weather tested, thermally efficient, and can be upgraded to toughened glass when required.

Energy Efficient

Outstanding Levels of Thermal Performance

Both our glass conservatory roofs, and tiled conservatory roofs are designed to maximise energy efficiency. Featuring high performing glazing, our glass roofs also use thermally efficient chambered top caps. These help to reduce heat loss to create a warmer more efficient home interior.

Our SupaLite tiled conservatory roofs provide some of the highest levels of thermal performance available today. Featuring 100mm insulation between the aluminium rafters and 62mm insulated plasterboard on the roof interior, they can easily achieve energy efficiency levels in line with the rest of your home.

FAQs

Your Questions Answered

We know that choosing the right home improvement is never easy, so we’ve listed some of the most common questions about our range of conservatory roofs to help you make the right choice.

Got a specific question? Ask our experts today!

Ask Us

Will any re-plastering be needed?

If any damage to plasterwork occurs, the installers will put this right to a high professional standard.

How long will it take to install a conservatory roof?

Conservatory roofs usually take from three to four days to install.

Will my conservatory be darker with a tiled roof?

No. The large glass areas of the walls will still admit an abundance of natural light. You can also add glass panels into a tiled roof to increase natural light intake.

Do I need to wait for fine weather conditions to install a conservatory roof?

No. Conservatory roofs can be installed all year round in any weather conditions.

In what areas do you install conservatory roof upgrades?

At Tyneside Home Improvements, we install conservatory roof upgrades across Northeast England. We serve all the major cities in the area including Newcastle, Sunderland, Middlesborough, and Durham. We also work extensively across all towns and villages in Northumberland, Tyne and Wear, North Yorkshire, and County Durham.
